We offer a unique service for your clients that wish to sell their business or for those seeking to purchase another business. Our subscription membership allows you to place as many adverts as you wish. All adverts are reviewed every two weeks to examine any changes that are necessary to improve response levels or to leave it as it is if sufficient interest has been received.
Taking care of your client’s buying & selling
Every business in the country has an accountant, and those accountants are on our database. The vast majority of those that could have potential clients, either way, is on direct email with us.
Should you have a client that wishes to buy or sell you simply tell us with a brief description of the requirement. We will then code the business and yourself and send the details out by email to other appropriate accountancy practices, either by the size of practice, region, or the entire database. Any replies received would then be passed directly to you. This will be the name and telephone number of another accountant in the vast majority of cases.
Not only is the advert available online for viewing, but the brief information will be dispatched by email every two weeks initially to other accountants as appropriate to see if they have a client that may wish to take advantage of the opportunity, either of sale or purchase. Not only can you place an advert for sale on our site, but you can also put adverts for businesses wanted.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a subscription to join?
We do charge a monthly subscription to become a member of GBS; however, you can place as many adverts as you wish. It’s up to you what you charge your client as all success fees are yours.
Who sees the adverts?
We will send your adverts out nationwide, via email, fortnightly to our list of GBS receivers who are all quality accountancy practices.
In addition, through our international connection with European Tax and Law, the opportunities will be reviewed in many countries throughout Europe and, in total, the potential of 50+ countries where the ETL has a presence.
Do you have additional support services for corporate finance?
Yes. Everything from helping you prepare an information memorandum through to taking on the case in its entirety and helping you all the way through to completion.
If I go for the full service, are there any fees in it for me?
Yes, any work, of course, that you do for your client would probably be charged on an hourly basis as usual by yourself. However, should we provide additional services, either through Goldsmith’s or through any associated business, that may be appropriate for your client as a separate fee for you would need to be negotiated on a case by case basis?
What do I need to do to join?
Once you have returned the signed joining papers, all we will require is a short description (50-100 words) of the businesses for sale or wanted.
